MASB Director since 2016, Carsten H. Hahn is Director at the Research & Innovation Center at SAP SE. He is accountable for the development of innovative solutions in the area of marketing with a focus on Big Data approaches and marketing intangibles like brand value and customer equity. Since 2001, he has held various management positions within SAP research & development.
Since 2014, Carsten has also been a professor at the University of Applied Sciences in Karlsruhe, Germany, with the focus on innovation engineering and entrepreneurship. Before he joined SAP he worked as associate consultant for various consulting companies like Simon, Kucher & Partners, Bonn, Germany, and CTCon in Vallendar, Germany.
He earned a PhD in Marketing from the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and holds a degree in computer science and business administration of the University in Mannheim.
Carsten serves on the Finance in Marketing Course Project team.
