Peter Cushing

Serving since 2017, first as MASB Advisor and now as MASB Director, Peter Cushing is Associate Director of Global Analytics and Marketing Effectiveness at General Motors. He is responsible for developing insights and analyses aimed at improving brand health, advertising, and marketing effectiveness. Prior to joining GM, Peter was with Ipsos ASI, where he held SVP and VP positions.

Peter has more than 25 years of experience in research, analytics, consulting, and planning applied to the development of brand and marketing strategies and tactics.

He holds a BA from the University of Michigan, an MM from Kellogg’s Graduate School of Management, and completed all course work requirements (ABD) for a PhD in Marketing from Stanford. Peter serves on the BIV Project team.
