Holland’s Accountable Marketing Expert Joins MASB

MASB’s newest member is the author of the recently published book, YES! Accountable Marketing, which gives marketers better insights into their marketing activities by explaining the background of accountability, the definition of ROI, cooperating with other departments, funneling and how to get started. Michiel van de Watering of the Netherlands is serving as MASB Advisor and will be attending MASB Summer Summit 2018, Aug. 9-10 in Boston.

“I keep searching for opponents to motivate and win their support for accountable marketing,” van de Watering said. “Therefore, I really am glad to be able to join MASB and assist in creating insights for marketers on the advantages of running their marketing strategies and tactics ‘the accountable way.'”

After graduating from Hotelschool The Hague, Michiel started his career in financial services and worked in various marketing positions. After several years, he switched to marketing consultancy. Since 2004, he has been an independent entrepreneur, advising companies on strategy development and improving the results of marketing effectiveness.
