Alfred Dupuy is passionate about bridging the gap between marketing and finance, fostering product/service innovation, and driving sustainable business improvements. At MASB Summer Summit, Aug. 8-9 at Rutgers Business School, he will present “Sustainability as a Growth Driver,” emphasizing the importance of valuing sustainability perceptions in driving business growth.
Dupuy is Director, Valuation & Strategy, at Brand Finance, the global brand valuation and strategy consultancy. Based on metrics certified by MASB, Brand Finance’s Sustainability Perceptions Index quantifies the financial benefits of sustainability, showing how better actions and communication can lead to significant gains, while insufficient action poses significant risks.
Dupuy has more than 18 years of experience in research, insights, and strategy development. He will explore the gap between performance and perceptions and highlight opportunities from “greenhushing” – where performance exceeds perception – and risks from “greenwashing” –where perception outpaces performance. Learn how aligning consumer perceptions with actual sustainability efforts is crucial for maximizing value and mitigating risks.
