Johnson & Johnson, one of the world’s largest and most broadly based healthcare companies, is prioritizing marketing accountability and demonstrating marketing’s contribution by joining the Marketing Accountability Standards Board (MASB).
Michael McCaffrey, Global Strategy & Insights Leader of Johnson & Johnson Global Corporate Affairs, spoke at MASB Spring Summit in April (see below) and has been appointed to the MASB Advisory Council. “I’m thrilled to have the chance to partner with other professionals who share my passion for building brands and demonstrating the business value of marketing. The MASB mission aligns nicely with our values at Johnson & Johnson and the work I’m leading in Corporate Affairs to enhance our measurement discipline and evolve our focus on metrics that matter to our success.”
McCaffrey has 25 years of experience at the company in global franchise and regional marketing organizations, innovation groups and business development. He manages a diverse GS&I team with deep expertise in reputation management, communications and M&E. He led creation of J&J’s proprietary and multi-faceted Global Reputation Intelligence System (GRIS).
“We are delighted to welcome Johnson & Johnson to MASB membership,” said MASB CEO Joanna Seddon. “Michael’s spotlight interview at the Spring Summit got a 100% excellent rating! We look forward very much to working with him and his team. He contributes a lot of stimulating thinking, and I know we will inspire him with some new ideas and insights into best practices in marketing accountability.”
