A founding Trustee of the Marketing Accountability Foundation (2013), George Ivie is Executive Director & CEO of the Media Rating Council, a not-for-profit industry organization created in 1963 to assure high ethical and operational standards in audience measurement services. Since his appointment in 2000, George has managed the audits and evaluations of dozens of measurement services while working to effectively triple the number of MRC member organizations and greatly expand the MRC’s standards setting activities.
He currently serves on the ARF’s Board of Directors and is a member of NAB’s Committees on Local Television Audience Measurement (COLTAM) and Local Radio Audience Measurement (COLRAM). Prior to MRC, he was a partner at Ernst & Young where he served as lead representative and advisor to MRC, leading a team that conducted all MRC audits.
George holds a Master’s of Accounting and BBA from the University of Florida.
