Don Sexton, founding Advisory Council member (2011) and MAF Trustee since 2018, is Professor Emeritus of Business, Columbia University. His research concerns marketing return on investment and branding strategy.
He is Founder and President of The Arrow Group, Ltd., a firm that provides consulting and training services in the areas of marketing and branding to companies such as GE, Pfizer, IBM, Citigroup, Unilever, and DuPont. He is past-president of the New York chapter of the American Marketing Association. He wrote the best-selling books Marketing 101, Branding 101, and Value Above Cost.
His articles have appeared in publications such as the Harvard Business Review, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, and Management Science; and he is frequently quoted in the New York Times, Business Week, Ad Age, China Economic Daily and other media.
He received a BA from Wesleyan University and PhD and MBA in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Chicago.
